Digital Democracy is a Sydney based digital communications consultancy by Jenni Beattie.

Jenni is a senior communications strategist who has worked across advertising, public relations, market research and media.  She has worked for companies such as News Ltd, CARMA International, McCann Erickson Advertising,  Cancer Council NSW, Media Monitors, The Digital Edge and Network PR.

With over 20 years industry experience Jenni has been immersed in digital communications working on social media strategies for organisations since 2006 starting with  Paramount Pictures.

In fact Jenni was talking about Social Media and the change to pr back in 2006 in this podcast and co-authored the whitepaper (2006) Being Found in Web Searches Via Natural Language SEO long before pr agencies understood the importance of SEO and search.

In addition to having her own blog Jenni has been a guest blogger since 2006 on various Australian blogs including:

She brings a unique perspective that encompasses a solid understanding of the traditional media combined with social media and SEO expertise driven by consumer research.

With an understanding that Visibility (SEO – ie. being found on Google)  and Engagement (how people are engaging with your brand) are essentials in a Social Media Strategy Jenni can assist you with both of these fundamental areas.

Experience

Development of  Social Media strategies and Social Media training with companies such as PEDIGREE, Tourabout, iNova Pharmaceuticals,  Lonely Planet, Themhs, and others. Jenni has also trained pr companies such as Klick Communications, BlueChip Communications and MaxMediaLab how to integrate pr into their business.

Developed and managed  Online Research Communities for Kelloggs, Sara Lee, Weight Watchers, CBA, Kimberley-Clark and others.
